Germany's largest outdoor fair for hunters and shooters, held around the Wittelsbach hunting castle Schloss Grünau near Neuburg an der Donau. Around 520 exhibitors, strong presence of the hunting arms industry and hunting travel sector, plus demonstrations and traditional hunting culture. More than 33,000 visitors expected.

Dutch & European Championship Culinary Game BBQ 2026

Open Dutch (NK) and European (EK) championship in cooking game on the barbecue, held in De Hoge Veluwe National Park. Teams from the Netherlands and abroad each prepare four gourmet dishes from local game, using barbecue equipment only, judged by master chefs and Michelin-starred chefs. A rare chance to explore the interior of Jachthuis Sint Hubertus, the iconic hunting lodge designed by H.P. Berlage in De Hoge Veluwe National Park: the hall, dining room, smoking room, tea room and study. Sint-Hubertusfeesten Wiemesmeer 2026

A traditional Saint Hubert festival with more than 80 years of history, centred on horse, rider and nature. Programme: Hunt Ball (23 Oct), hunting horn concert in the church (24 Oct, 20:00), a traditional drag hunt that you can follow on horseback, by bike or on foot (25 Oct), and on 3 November the Saint Hubert blessing of riders, horses and carriages, forest routes and a four-course game banquet. Sint-Hubertusviering Tervuren 2026

The annual Saint Hubert celebration in Tervuren, recognised as intangible cultural heritage in Flanders. 10:30 solemn mass in the Sint-Janskerk with choir and the Royal Antwerp Hunting Horn Circle; 11:45 a mounted procession of riders and carriages, joined by dog clubs, through the town to the Sint-Hubertus Chapel in the Warande park, where horses and dogs are blessed. Closing with hunting horn music. Free. Riders, carriage drivers and dog owners are welcome to take part.

Fête de la Saint-Hubert 2026 – Saint-Hubert

Every 3 November the town of Saint-Hubert in the Belgian Ardennes honours the patron saint of hunters. Programme (based on previous editions): morning mass at the altar of Saint Hubert, a Grand Mass accompanied by hunting horn ensembles from across Europe (a UNESCO-recognised tradition), blessing of bread, the blessing of animals in front of the basilica at 12:15 and the blessing of horses followed by a ride-out. Nationale Natuurwerkdagen 2026

The biggest volunteer nature-management event in the Netherlands. On hundreds of locations across the country, volunteers help manage heathland, woodland, hedgerows and wetlands together with land managers and landscape organisations. Hubertusmarkt Gulpen 2026

One of the oldest markets in the Netherlands: the first Hubertusmarkt in Gulpen was held in 1544, making 2026 the 482nd edition. Around 150 market stalls with regional products and crafts, children's activities, a 10:00 mass and the traditional blessing of horses at 11:20. Hunting horn ensembles traditionally play at the market. Time: 10:00–17:00. Venue: town centre of Gulpen (South Limburg).

Hubertusviering Oirschot 2026

The 15th annual open-air Saint Hubert celebration, organised by WBE Moergestel (local wildlife management unit) at the Chapel of the Holy Oak. Service with music by the Kempische Jachthoornblazers, blessing of dogs and horses, distribution of Hubertus bread and a get-together with free refreshments afterwards. Everyone is welcome, on foot, by bike, by car or on horseback. Time: 13:00. Venue: Kapel van de Heilige Eik, Proosbroekweg 11, Oirschot.

Hubertusmesse & Jägerschlag Geisenheim 2026

Saint Hubert celebration of the Jagdverein Rheingau at the "Rheingauer Dom" in Geisenheim. From 15:30 gathering on the cathedral square with mulled wine, bratwurst and cake; 17:00 the traditional Jägerschlag, in which young hunters are formally welcomed into the hunting community; 18:00 Hubertusmesse in the church with hunting horn players. The world's largest dog show at the NEC Birmingham, 4–7 March 2027. Day 1 (Thursday 4 March) is Gundog Day, with the gundog breeds (retrievers, spaniels, pointers, setters and HPR breeds) competing for Best of Breed and the Gundog Group. A must for anyone interested in hunting dogs.

The 24th edition of this Hessian fair for hunting, fishing and off-road, with more than 100 exhibitors and a full supporting programme. A show for hunters, game and target shooters and anglers at the Great Yorkshire Showground in Harrogate. One of Scotland's premier country and sporting events, in the grounds of Drumlanrig Castle in Dumfries and Galloway.
